Jubilee Animation Center
Situated in the same complex of CSSS, the animation centre consists of a well furnished hall which can accommodate up to 400 persons for seminars/meetings and room accommodation for 40. Practically, no week passes off without a minimum of two programs in the centre on development themes and other pertinent matters concerning to the fulfillment of the mission of the Society.
Jubilee Memorial Industrial Training Center
The Industrial Training Centre which is also functioning in the same compound of CSSS is as old as the Society itself, but still holding on to its relevance as a reputed institution in imparting technical/vocational skills training to the youth. Presently the courses conducted on regular basis are in Fitter and X-ray welding Trades.
Jubilee Driving School
The Driving School is the ancillary unit of the Jubilee Industrial Training Centre placed under the category of Functional Vocation Training Program. Driving of light motor vehicle, three wheelers (auto rickshaw) and two wheelers (motor cycles and scooters) come under the purview of the training program. The driving school also prepares the trainers for the driving test for getting license. More than 100 persons complete training every year and become licensed drivers from the Jubilee Driving School.
Kolping Computer Center
Among the diocesan social service organizations, CSSS holds the distinction of promoting computer education as early as in 1990s beginning with its staff and eventually making it a standardized program for the student community around. Later, in 2006 the computer centre received facelift with latest systems and advanced versions introduced. Since then the Centre is renamed as Kolping Computer Centre, cherishing the name of the great Adolf Kolping, a world renowned social worker. The computer courses conducted at present at the Kolping Centre are MS Office, Tally, DTP and Data Entry.
‘Plesion’ Regional Social Center
CSSS has a regional centre located at Thankey in Alapuzha district, 30 km southwards from Fort Cochin. The three storied building fully owned and occupied by the CSSS is put under the charge of a priest director and it houses regional meetings, training programs, etc. besides coordinating regional level programmes under CSSS including that of WIDS and SHGs. The main coir training cum resource centre of the Society is functioning attached to the regional centre. Also, vocational training courses for girls in tailoring and computer operations are in session.
